2:58AM - zen.

i am so incredibly happy right now.

nothing in particular has happened, and yet everything has happened all at once. i feel as though my summer has been culminating to just this feeling, this amazingly shocking and yet so undeniable feeling of peace. serious, peace, of, mind. nothing hurts for more than a few moments.

i love being around me right now. i love having only my thoughts. i love allowing people in to connect with and then reconnecting with myself. i am so goddamn lucky. i am so loved. and i am so alone. good alone.

i havent felt this way since i dont know when, but i know i have felt it, because i feel as though i am back somewhere.

india on monday.

i love my new room.

i feel like im on some sort of pivot. you know, that sort of V shaped thing. i feel like im on the centre of that thing. of that pivot. is it called a pivot? im on the centre of that pivot. definately.
things could go in any direction- is the symbolism.
well, i mean, in two directions.
really bad and really good, or the two directions of this pivot...that im on the centre of.

i really hope its called a pivot.

11:57AM - LAME.

so im at a bit of a philosophical crisis at the moment. it's to the point where i dont even know whether or not the crisis could even be labeled as that of a philosophical one, which makes it all the more philosophical.
a few days ago, during the ball-dropping night, i was asked what my new years resolution was. at this point, though i hadnt thought of the answer, expected to pump out something half-assed that i could discard mid-way through new-years day. but it was wierd, i actually couldnt come up with anything. everything that i started to say, i really didnt want to change, or i thought about happening and didnt like the consequences, etc. now, lets not kid around here, my life is definately not perfect, and it could seriously stand for some change. but the stuff i see changing really doesnt even have a whole lot to do with me. is it wierd that i'm starting to really like the stuff thats wrong with me? like for example, its no secret that i pile on WAY too much responsibility during quarters. i usually take on a show (or three), take 16-20 units (of which i strive to get A's, none of that C's get you degrees bullshit), rehearse and perform in live nudes, and always get caught having some sort of random commitment that i honestly thought would be just 'fine' if i took it on. on top of all that, i make sure to maintain strong relationships with my friends, family, and hey, a boyfriend. at the end of every quarter, i feel seriously burned out, like most people, but i like it. i really do, i like that feeling. in the hate/like way. so should i change it? should i stop giving myself heartattacks? or should i start hating those things so that i could like wanting to change them? i just dont know how seroiusly i could take the resolution "i need to start hating responsibility and achievement". maybe i shouldnt take it as importantly as i do anymore. who the fuck knows.
in other words, brokeback mountain was really overrated. the pacing and direction were absolutely horrendous. the acting and cinematography WAS good, i will admit that.
project runway party at my house tonight. i'm excited by the fact that there are 4 men and 1 woman coming to my house for this extravaganza.
picasso rehearsal starts today. very good.
heath comes home from valencia tomorrow. thats a good/anxiousy thing.

i really, really hate sleeping alone.
